Natalie Portman also wore a vintage gown - a red and black Christian Dior from 1954! Totally chic and dripping in platinum and diamonds:
Emma Stone's deep magenta dress was also a lot of fun, with it's oversized neck bow (which was reminiscent of Nicole Kidman's 2007 Oscar's gown by Balenciaga):
As a redhead, I thought Emma looked great in that color and I loved her chunky chain link bracelet! It's nice to wear a heavy and dramatic piece of jewelry with a light and elegant dress. Though many people didn't like the cape, I LOVED Gwyneth Paltrow's white Tom Ford ensemble. She ditched the cape when she presented, but with her big diamond cuff and platinum hair she looked like some kind of futuristic queen presiding over the red carpet:
And at the Vanity Fair Oscar's bash, Claire Danes looked amazing in another magenta gown - this one by Valentino. It was much more colorful that what she usually wears and I thought it gave her a nice, youthful look with the drama of a gown and I love the chunky gold bracelet:
My other favorite from the Vanity Fair party was Elizabeth Bank's dress - a green and navy gown by Chadwick Bell. The color combination was fantastic and her vintage-style cluster earrings were the perfect bit of sparkle to accent the soft navy feathers that crawled up the hem. This is a dress I would loooove to own!

We sooooo have the same taste. All these gowns: YES. Emma Stone's was my favorite.
