Pop Up Sale on Look Linger Love

What is your favorite blog? One of my daily go-to's is Look Linger Love, a wonderful blog about all things stylish from interior design to fashion to art and cooking. Chassity Evans (pictured below), the Southern belle behind LLL had great taste, so reading her blog is like getting a bit of inside advice from one of your best friends whose clothes you always want to borrow!  Chassity has worked with Candy Shop Vintage to pick some of her favorite current pieces and is hosting a pop-up sale on her blog... so head on over and take a peek!  In addition to vintage jewelry, I am sure you will find plenty to keep you entertained and coming back for more.
Here are some of Chassity's selections:

Final Pre-Holiday Trunk Show

Just got back from my last pre-Holiday trunk show of the season! This one was in Winter Garden, FL, a charming little Florida town that sprung up by virtue of the citrus industry. The town certainly had a lot of Christmas spirit, it's Main Street was completely decked-out for the holidays and all the adorable storefronts of vibrant local businesses invited people in to start (or finish) their holiday shopping.
Candy Shop Vintage was hosted by the lovely Kate Lyn's Boutique on Plant street which featured anything a girl could want for the holiday season from boots, to jewelry to fabulous faux fur wraps.
They even had a great, vintage-style painting hung in the shop that read "Yes, Yes my love.  Buy whatever you want at Kate Lyn's!"
Thanks to all the ladies who came out Friday evening to support Candy Shop Vintage and Kate Lyn's Boutique, as well as Lisa, owner of Kate Lyn's and organizers Kay Cappleman and Mary Zahl.  Though this was our last live event this year, we will have some exciting new things online in the next two weeks so you can continue your shopping from home. Happy Holidays!

On The Road... To Winter Garden Florida!

I am excited to be having a trunk show this Friday evening starting at 5PM in Winter Garden, Florida at Kate Lyn's Boutique:
Winter Garden is just outside Orlando, FL and near Windermere, FL. It also happens to be where my mother-in-law grew up and is a charming little town with lots of local flavor!  It is famous for its orange groves and I've never tasted better orange juice in my life than in Winter Garden.  Looking forward to bringing my jewels a little further South,  so if you are in the area, click here for directions and come say hello!

All I Want for Christmas...

Ladies, better start making your Christmas list because next Tuesday evening, Elizabeth Taylor's massive collection of fine jewelry that she amassed over the years is hitting the auction block at Christie's in New York.  You can even buy tickets and preview the exhibition in person until December 16th at 20 Rockefeller Plaza.  If you are not lucky enough catch the show live, you can view the full slideshow here on the auction house's website.  I've put together my top 10 favorite pieces, just in case Santa is listening:

A BIG Thank you to the fabulous Cocktail Club Charleston for hosting us, La Bubbly for being our sponsor, Ayoka Lucas of Charleston Magazine for being our stylish Editor and judge and my assistant Lauren who helped me out all day and looked fantastic doing it!
